-
- Good on going discussion guys/girls.
-
- 1. Many complain about their penmanship. Looks like to me you can kill two birds
- with one stone. Get a book on penmanship (they still write those don't they?).
- Find the best style to copy and work on penmanship at the same time.
-
- 2. Start with cursive, don't DON'T print.
-
- 3. Practice not dotting i's and j's and don't cross the t's. This will come in
- handy later at higher speeds.
-
- 4. Use only half the horizontal width of the page.
-
- 5. Write small, remember t=d/v, where t is the time to write a critter, d is the
- distance pen/pencil must move, and v is the velocity at which you can move the
- pen/pencil over the writing surface. Use ballpoint, not pencil. Pencil drags
- too much. I hate ballpoint, as i am OF and prefer fountain pen, but I use ballpoint
- for copying code up to 40 or 45 wpm, if i must write it down.
-
- I leave it as an exercise for the student to determine why each of the above is logical.
-
- P.S. Someone complained that writing required you needed to know the next critter.
- If I remember correctly, it really doesn't matter. Maybe that's why you should
- copy behind. :-)

- What we need is to help get the info to someone that will put the data
